Hybrid Wars
IV Anti-Imperialist Poster Exhibition
It could look like trade sanctions, financial suffocation or the blocking of essential medicines from entering a county. It could look like fake news, media warfare or diplomatic blockades. It could look like the inciting of violence, assassinations and sabotage of essential services.
Hybrid war takes on many forms, and none of them are easy to visualize. In this fourth and final call of the Anti-Imperialist Poster Exhibitions, 39 artists from 18 countries contributed posters that help give visual expression to this defining concept of our times, deepen our understanding and inspire people's resistance.
This exhibition is launched in solidarity with the people of Venezuela in the lead up to their National Assembly election. This nation and its people have fought tooth and nail against the brutal hybrid war imposed by imperialist powers, led by the United States. These posters are a living testimony to people's struggle against imperialism.
